Quality Inspector
Quality Auditor & Final Auditor position available in the Chelsea, MI.
area working at our client location who is a leading manufacturer.
Contract to hire opportunity.
Pay rate is $15.
67 an hour to start.
1st shift.

The Quality Auditor & Final Auditor will be responsible for the quality auditing activities in the receiving, in-process, secondary, containment, and final areas.
Essential duties:
-Obtain necessary paperwork, gauging equipment, and sample parts for upcoming jobs.
Complete first piece approvals and sign first piece tags.
-Perform checks that need comparator or CMM program checks.
-Assist and instruct operators/die setters in quality checks.
-Audit product during production.
-Audit any paperwork -Enter data into Plex where required.
-Assist and instruct operators -Complete a last piece check at the end of the job.
-Completes testing as needed -Perform any tasks necessary to meet goals.
Final Audit / Receiving Auditor -Make labels for all products packaged.
Label each container.
Audit Part number, count, packaging, destination, as well as all other part quality checks required in Plex.
Reject any parts found to be discrepant.
Reject Tag from Plex is placed on the affected containers.
-Assist and instruct operators of any quality issues with products.
-Check all outgoing products to the shipper -Check-in materials, components, or parts from outside processes per requirements.
-Gather required Material Certifications or Certifications for parts from outside processing.
-Assist Quality Auditor and Quality Coordinator on the floor where needed.
-Assist with first and last off inspection, process audits, gauge retrieval, and any other tasks required.
-Perform any tasks necessary to meet company goals.

-Understanding of general blueprint reading.
-Understanding of basic GD & T.
-Understanding of basic gage usage.
-Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
-Must wear PPE as required.
-Required training in EMS-QMS.
-Follow plant safety rules and guidelines.
