Accounts Receivable Analyst
Position Description:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn every aspect of our Accounts Receivable function, such as daily invoicing, rebate accrual, billings, and other processes.
Since this role provides exposure to our key customers, possessing strong communication and relationship management skills are the foundation for success in this role.
The key to growth opportunity within our company is the ability to work in a fast paced environment while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
o Post-process lockbox payments, apply in-house payments, identify and research issues to fully and accurately apply cash to customer accounts and invoices; improve accuracy through system improvements and open line of communication with customerso Invoice sales orders, this includes:
following up with the plants and marketing on issues preventing an order from billing, constantly improving our system by examining billing error reasons.
This also includes invoicing on-line credit memos and buy/sell activityo Analyze and prepare reports for auditors, customers, and Plastipak internal userso Audit Pricingo Analyze and track rebates and accruals.
o Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
